The Hotel
A 34 bedrooms Cotswold Mansion set in 19 acres of its own grounds and further surrounded by parkland. All the bedrooms have been individually refurbished to 4 star standards over the last 4 years. The hotel runs over 100 weddings a year offering only one wedding on any day. We have a civil licence for weddings and partnerships for up to 100 guests. The grounds allow us to increase weddings over 100 by the use of a marquee. There are 3 function rooms, the cedar restaurant (60) and 2 bars.

Kitchen Porter
40 hours per week
4 weeks annual leave plus statutory holidays
£11,172 per annum
Live in accommodation available at a cost of £150.00 per month including all meals
5 days over 7 and will include most weekends. 3 straight shifts per week either 7.00- 3.00 or 3.00 -11 and 2 split shifts per week 10- 3 & 6-11
Main responsibilities
Cleaning of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils with a pre hand was and then commercial high speed dishwasher.
Hand washing of large pots used in the preparation and cooking of food items
Removal of bottles from the kitchen and correct disposal ready for recycling
Removal of cardboard from the kitchen area and bailing ready for recycling
Sorting of kitchen cloths and bagging ready for collection by the outside laundry
Completion of a daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule which includes the daily cleaning of floors through the kitchen area, and regular removal of kitchen shelving to clean behind and under the areas to remove food waste and other debris.
Using chemicals in the use of the job is essential and although COSHH training and PPE will be provided, candidates should not apply if they have previously suffered from eczema or other skin problems
Part time/Casual Banqueting ( vacancy closed until March 2008)
This position involves the preparation and service of functions within the hotel. It is often the service of wedding functions. The main times of work are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The hours offered will be to suit you and there are no guaranteed hours of work.
Hourly Rate for over 18's £5.56 per hour
Hourly Rate for 16/17 year olds £4.79 per hour
