Food

A Menu may be individually tailored to your exact requirements.

One choice per course may be selected, plus a choice for Vegetarians other dietary requests (charged at the same rate as adult menu), and Children (free of charge if 3 years and under, charged at half price of the adult menu if 4 – 13 years of age, charged the full adult price if 14 – 17 years).

Example Wedding Breakfast Menus (2010 Prices)

Menu Suggestion I: Total Menu Price £42.70

  • Smoked Chicken & Orange Salad with a Hazelnut Oil Dressing £7.70
  • Roast Leg of English Lamb with a Rosemary & Garlic Jus £24.00
  • Summer Fruit Cheesecake with a Fruit Coulis and Cream £8.00
  • Freshly Brewed Cafetiere Coffee or Tea with Dinner Mints £3.00

Menu Suggestion II: Total Menu Price £37.45

  • Carrot, Orange & Coriander Soup with Herb Croutons £6.50
  • Traditional Bangers & Mash with Seasonal Vegetables £18.95
  • French Apple Flan with Calvados Cream and Toffee Sauce £7.75
  • Freshly Brewed Cafetiere Coffee or Tea with Petit Fours £4.25

Example Evening Food Menus:

We can advise you on the quantity and type of your Buffet, and what time to serve it.

Finger Buffet Choices - 6 choices can be made for £14.00

e.g. Freshly Prepared Sandwich Selection, Cheese & Onion Flutes, Thai Prawn Spring Rolls, Creole Marinated Chicken Drumsticks, Vegetable Samosas.  

We also offer a Cheese & Biscuit Platter, a Ploughman’s style finger buffet or Bacon Butties.

Drinks

Drinks for your daytime function can be packaged per person, and tailored to your individual requirements.

You can choose to order drinks by the glass and bottle from the hotel wine list, rather than use a package.

You may prefer to bring your own drinks and pay for corkage (£10.00 per 75cl Bottle Wine, £13.50 per 75cl Bottle Sparkling Wine / Champagne).

Example Drinks Packages

Drinks Package 1: Price per person £12.75

  • 1 x Arrival Drink (Pimms & Lemonade, Bucks Fizz, Sparkling Wine, Fruit Punch, Mulled Wine, Sherry)
  • 1 x Glass of House Wine with the Wedding Breakfast (175ml glass)
  • 1 x Glass of Sparkling Wine with the Toast

Drinks Package 4: Price per person £17.50

  • 1 x Arrival Drink (from the hotel list)
  • 2 x Glasses of House Wine with the Wedding Breakfast
  • 1 x Glass of House Champagne with the Toast

Drinks Package 6: Price per person £21.00

  • 1 x Arrival Drink (from the hotel list)
  • 3 x Glasses of House Wine with the Wedding Breakfast
  • 1 x Glass of House Champagne with the Toast
