Rather than treating ‘Cotswold’ as a style to buy, look for the people still doing the work. Independent galleries and workshops around Broadway, Winchcombe and the northern Cotswolds are good places to start.
The tradition is broader than souvenirs. The Arts and Crafts movement placed enormous value on useful objects made well, and that idea still feels at home here.
